Facial laser hair removal Techniques

There are many different strategies to remove unwanted hair. Some of these consist of waxing, shaving, coils, electrolysis and laser. Although each has its advantages and disadvantages, they all perform a similar function. That is removing unwelcome hair.

One such technique that has become quite popular these days is laser hair removal. This technique works with a laser on the hair at the specified wavelength that emits a specialized light. The light from the actual laser is passed from the skin and is absorbed through the hair follicle. This light actually targets the melanin (colour) inside hair follicle and damage it, thereby causing the hair to fall out. The reason being will be that dark hair posesses a pigment called eumelanin which in turn effectively absorbs more laser energy and therefore results in more effective destruction in the hair follicle. Due to the higher effectiveness with the treatment towards dark haired fair skin patients, it leads to fewer treatment which is therefore less costly. Other the other side, grey, red and blonde hair have a pigment called pheomelanin in which absorbs less laser energy reducing the effectiveness of the treatment. Therefore extra treatment is required for the same effect. So before you enroll in this treatment, make sure you know the key of this treatment. If you are no ideal candidate, be prepared for added treatment charges.
