I have loved photography most of living. Sometimes I produced money, sometimes Some. I put thousands of hours into a Carl Kruse on National Geographic website that has not made me a dime, though it consumes me personally, often filling my every waking considered. So the question comes up, why do I put in so much time on something that has not helped me rich, or popular, or even supported my loved ones?

The answer to that issue, like most, is probably different for each of us. But if you act like you are at a point, or even ever get to an area where you find yourself requesting "why bother"? Perhaps this list will help spark an answer for you.

1 . Photography can relieve stress. It gives the excuse to be outside, to hike, to explore, and to fill your lungs with very good, clean fresh air. When you concentrate on other things, your own problems just appear to fade away.

2 . Digital photography expands the imagination. It can be your muse, your inspiration, even a starting point for some other creative endeavors. It helps you to see the planet and people in a completely new way.

3. Photography can be a spiritual knowledge. The rush of rising a mountain or maybe the magic of recording baby's first smile helps put the planet in perspective. Touching the hearts of others is great... yet touching your own, places you on the path to eternal enlightenment.

4. Pictures is a means of communication. Yet more than that, it is a means of acquiring information. Documentation, entertainment, and revelation all come from being able to "See" another point of view.

five. Photography can touch the hearts of others. Whether you are wanting to raise money for "starving kids" coming from Africa or trying to save an "endangered species" in Ak, nothing can make friends faster than great photography.

6. Digital photography can be a great job. Imagine being paid to go to far off areas, to meet beautiful individuals, to see things a lot of people only dream of. To commence that level, I must know all I can about the art. So whether I have attained there or not, I must keep learning much more.

7. Photography can build self esteem. Words of flattery on your work, feedback, input all inform you you're doing something worth wild. When you are able take someone who feels as though a "nobody" and make her look like a Empress, there is no greater sensation in the world (for each of you)!!

8. Digital photography offers you the chance regarding immortality. Photos around the cover of Life, Time, or National Geographic magazines can be seen by Billions of folks. If you can move their own editors, you can proceed the world.

9. Pictures can unite your household. From baby images to high school dances, to marriage and beyond, nothing helps you relate or draw closer to someone than seeing what they are through. It helps you hold onto the thoughts when everyone else is gone.

10. Photography is my gift coming from God. It is our responsibility to use the particular gifts I have been provided. It's what I do, it's who I am. Like most gifts coming from God, its purpose is to be shared with the entire world. How can I share what I don't understand? How can I create my talents develop without actively looking for more knowledge as well as better understanding?

Clearly this listed will be influenced by my very own beliefs and living experiences; however... making a "Top Ten" listing of why YOU love digital photography, might just be the greatest surprise you could give your self this holiday season. Provide yourself a reason to trust you can succeed and you should.
