I have appreciated photography most of my entire life. Sometimes I produced money, sometimes I did not. I put thousands of hours into a Carl Kruse on National Geographic website that has not made me a dime, yet still it consumes myself, often filling the every waking believed. So the question arises, why do I place in so much time on something that has not helped me rich, or popular, or even supported my loved ones?

The answer to that query, like most, is probably various for each of us. But if you act like you are at a point, or even ever get to a place where you find yourself asking "why bother"? Perhaps this list can help spark an answer for you personally.
