I have enjoyed photography most of living. Sometimes I made money, sometimes I did not. I put 1000s of hours into a Carl Kruse on National Geographic website that has not really made me a dime, though it consumes me personally, often filling my every waking considered. So the question occurs, why do I put in so much time in something that has not helped me rich, or well-known, or even supported my family?
