I have enjoyed photography most of my life. Sometimes I made money, sometimes I did not. I put a large number of hours into a Carl Kruse Photography website that has not really made me a dime, but still it consumes myself, often filling our every waking considered. So the question arises, why do I place in so much time in something that has not helped me rich, or well-known, or even supported my family?

The answer to that question, like most, is probably various for each of us. But if you act like you are at a point, or perhaps ever get to a place where you find yourself asking "why bother"? Perhaps this list can help spark an answer for you personally.

1 . Photography can relieve stress. It gives the excuse to be outside, to hike, to learn, and to fill your current lungs with very good, clean fresh air. As you concentrate on other things, your own problems just manage to fade away.

2 . Photography expands the imagination. It can be your muse, your inspiration, a good starting point for some other creative endeavors. It can help you to see the globe and people in a totally new way.

3. Digital photography can be a spiritual experience. The rush of rising a mountain or maybe the magic of capturing baby's first smile helps put the globe in perspective. Touching the hearts of others is great... however touching your own, places you on the path to everlasting enlightenment.

4. Digital photography is a means of connection. Yet more than that, this can be a means of acquiring details. Documentation, entertainment, and revelation all are derived from being able to "See" another point of view.

a few. Photography can feel the hearts of others. Whether you are wanting to raise money regarding "starving kids" coming from Africa or attempting to save an "endangered species" in Alaska, nothing can connect with people faster than fantastic photography.

6. Photography can be a great job. Imagine being paid for to go to far off locations, to meet beautiful individuals, to see things most people only dream of. To get to that level, I need to know all I could about the art. Therefore whether I have attained there or not, I need to keep learning much more.

7. Photography can easily build self esteem. Words of flattery on your work, feedback, input all tell you you're doing some thing worth wild. When you can take someone who feels like a "nobody" and make her look like a Empress, there is no greater sense in the world (for each of you)!!

8. Digital photography offers you the chance associated with immortality. Photos on the cover of Living, Time, or Nationwide Geographic magazines can be seen by Billions of folks. If you can move their editors, you can move the world.

9. Photography can unite your household. From baby photos to high school dances, to marriage and also beyond, nothing helps you relate or draw closer to someone compared to seeing what they have been through. It helps you possess onto the remembrances when everyone else is gone.

10. Photography is my gift coming from God. It is the responsibility to use the gifts I have been given. It's what I carry out, it's who I am. Like most gifts coming from God, its purpose is to be shared with the world. How can I share things i don't understand? How can I create my talents grow without actively searching for more knowledge and also better understanding?

Clearly this listed will be influenced by my very own beliefs and living experiences; however... creating a "Top Ten" set of why YOU love pictures, might just be the greatest surprise you could give yourself this holiday season. Give yourself a reason to think you can succeed and you may.
